Andre etasje - Our pride and joy
Our restaurant, Andre Etasje (Second Floor), is situated in our beautiful mountain village, Vågå. Here we welcome you to relax and breathe the fresh air in a magnificent scenery while enjoying culinary highlights. In our cosy restaurant, we emphasize real, homemade food with an identity, based on good raw materials, preferably local ones. But what is most important for us: whatever we serve, must taste good and tempt you to return to us!
We have lovingly transformed an old residence into the restaurant as it appeears today. We welcome you to enjoy a good meal and listen to stories about the district’s past and present in unique rooms with a homelike atmosphere. Our credo is recycling, seasoned with a modern style, sewn together with our common interest in colour and interior decoration. Our aim is to create an atmosphere that instils a feeling of homecoming into our guests.
During the daytime, we serve a plain fare of hot and cold lunch dishes. In the evening, we regularly present a 3-, 4-, or 5-course-meny. Reservations and information you’ll find at www.andreetasje.no or at [email protected].
If you are going to organize a small party, Andre Etasje might be a good alternative. We have various small rooms for hire, and we can accomodate small or medium-sized groups. Why not combine your event with an overnight stop at Sov Lodge, which is a mere 200 meters’ walk from Andre Etasje?
We would also like to invite you to our 170 metres square roof terrace, overlooking the mountains surrounding the village. Here you may have a small snack in the sun, or pay a visit to our hothouse and savour a delicious drink: A perfect end of a day in the lovely fragrance of herbs and flowers growing on the terrace.
