We are based in the small valley of Heidal and we have more than 40 Alaskan huskies.
Our dogs are strong, hardworking and love to run, perfect for long days in the winter mountains.
Our tours start either from Sjodalen Hyttetun & Camping or from Murudalen, taking you into varied and beautiful winter landscapes.
You will be responsible for your own dog team throughout the tour, including driving, feeding, and caring for the dogs.
This gives you a unique connection with the animals and lets you experience life as a real dog musher.
The classic tour runs over two days with one overnight stay.
You will stay either in a tent or in a cozy traditional mountain cabin, depending on what is agreed in advance.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included, so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
If you want to get even more out of the experience, you can join a three-day tour with two overnight stays.
This gives you more time to settle into the rhythm of mushing and experience life in the mountains.
You will stay both in a tent and in a cabin, enjoying good food, a warm fire, and well-deserved rest after long days out in the winter cold.
The tours are suitable for people in normal good physical condition who are looking for an active winter experience.
We will adapt the tour where possible to your preferences and adjust plans when necessary due to weather and snow conditions.

3-day tour: 11900 NOK per person
Booking must be made at least one week before departure.
Minimum 2 and maximum 5 participants per tour.
