Via Ferrata Sjoa – A Vertical Adventure with Spectacular Views
Experience the mountains from a whole new perspective on our guided Via Ferrata adventure. Using fixed cables, ladders and bridges, you'll climb a spectacular route up the steep mountainside towards Slåfjellet, safely guided by our experienced instructors.
Explore Sjoa is the only activity centre in the area offering a guided Via Ferrata experience.
After a thorough safety briefing and introduction to the equipment, it's time to begin the ascent. As you climb higher, you'll be rewarded with increasingly breathtaking views of the Sjoa River, the Gudbrandsdalen Valley and the surrounding mountain landscape.
At the summit, those looking for an extra challenge can cross our 40-metre suspension balance bridge high above the ground. Crossing the bridge is completely optional, but those who do are rewarded with incredible views and a real sense of achievement.
Once at the top, you'll have time to relax and enjoy your packed lunch before following the scenic trail back down to our base.
Combining adventure, stunning scenery and personal achievement, this is the perfect activity for both first-time climbers and anyone looking for a unique outdoor experience in Gudbrandsdalen.
