- We can arrange packages on the Gjende boats for groups of up to 200 people. Companies, groups, clubs, weddings and other celebrations, school classes, institutions and others. From 30 minutes to three hours. Contact us for a price for you group. Gjende and the mountains offer some fantastic possibilities for activities. Here are some of the things we can organise. Sightseeing with guide, food served on board or at one of the hikers’ lodges in the area. Fully-licensed food and beverage service offering anything from coffee and waffles to a three-course dinner. Entertainment on board with a Peer Gynt or Jo Gjende theme. Live music on the boat or ashore
You will get the best start for a mountain walk on board one of our boats. We have up to 8 departures a day from the quay at Gjendesheim to Memurubu (Besseggen) and Gjendebu. There are 2 return departures from Gjendebu. As well as the scheduled departures, we set up a number of additional trips.
