Heidal Husky

Come and experience the feeling of driving your own dog sled through the magical Norwegian mountains!
Heidal Husky is located in the small and cosy village of Heidal in Gudbrandsdalen. Our kennel is home to 45 Alaska Huskies who love to run and take guests out on unforgettable adventures.

We offer tours all year round – dog sledding during winter and cart tours on snow-free trails during the warmer months. During the summer season, we must take the temperature into consideration. The general limit is a maximum of 15°C (59°F) to avoid the dogs getting too warm.

Our tours vary in length, from shorter trips of around 6 km to longer day tours with a relaxing break around the campfire or inside a warm lavvu.

This is an experience for everyone!

With experienced guides by your side, you can feel safe whether it is your first time trying dog sledding or you have done it before.

Depending on the tour you book, we start from different locations in the mountains. Along the way, you will experience breathtaking scenery, fresh mountain air, and of course plenty of time to cuddle our four-legged friends.

Need accommodation? We are happy to recommend cosy places to stay nearby.

We look forward to taking you on an unforgettable adventure!
