Booking conditions for online booking
1. General information
Nasjonalparkriket Reiseliv AS with registered office at Ola Dahls Gate 1, 2670 Otta, Norway, acts as an agent in order to provide travel services in Gudbrandsdalen.
Nasjonalparkriket Reiseliv AS is responsible for forwarding your booking to the relevant supplier. It is the supplier’s responsibility to provide the activity, equipment or accommodation in line with your booking. We will ensure you receive relevant information before your arrival/tour, and will contact you in the event of any major changes or cancellation of your booking. The agreement may apply to accommodation, an activity, product, service or a combination of these.
2. The guest's obligations
The person responsible for the booking at nasjonalparkriket.no must be 18 years old or older.
The guest is obliged to observe house rules, instructions and regulations applying to the travel, accommodation, etc.
The guest, or the guarantor for the accommodation/activity, is liable for any damages resulting from negligent or reckless behaviour by the guests.
We recommend all our customers to ensure they have good insurance cover before travelling, in the event of illness, loss or damage to luggage, accidents, liability and similar.
3. Booking and payment
Your booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation e-mail with a booking reference number.
Please note that the content in the booking confirmation constitutes contract terms. We recommend all our guests to bring this confirmation when you arrive for your stay.
It is the guest's responsibility to verify that the arrival and departure dates and all other crucial booking data are correct. Any errors must be communicated immediately to e-mail: [email protected] or by phone: +47 61 24 14 44.
The guest shall pay 100% of the cost when booking via nasjonalparkriket.no.
Nasjonalparkriket Reiseliv AS is responsible for the actual transaction, and for ensuring that the correct amount is charged to your card. We will contact you in the event of problems with your credit card. If we are unable to make contact, your booking will be cancelled.
Only Nasjonalparkriket Reiseliv AS and the supplier of the relevant product will have access to your name and contact details. Our partner Nets AS is responsible for credit card numbers and codes being securely processed in accordance with the requirements defined in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Payment by invoice is possible only in exceptional cases by special agreement at the time of booking. An additional invoice fee of NOK 75 will then be charged.
4. Cancellation/changes
The following cancellation costs shall apply unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation.
To cancel or change your booking, please contact Nasjonalparkriket. All cancellations must be sent via e-mail to [email protected].
Note that a change of arrival or departure date will be regarded as a cancellation. This does not apply to extensions of existing bookings.
If you wish to make a change in your reservation, a fee of NOK 200 per booking and time will be charged.
Nasjonalparkriket has no control over the exchange rate that will be calculated for refunds to credit cards and is not responsible for any loss incurred.
4.1 Cancellation charges for accommodation:
For accommodation following cancellation fees/deadline apply:
Until 16:00 (4pm), two days before arrival - 100% refund.
Cancellation 0-2 days - no refund.
4.2 Cancellation charges for activities, tickets, rentals:
Cancellations received within 1 hour of booking or more than 7 days prior to the rental/activity date: full refund.
Cancellations received less than 7 days prior: no refund
There is no refund on season tickets.
5. Privacy/data policy
By paying, you agree that personal information may be processed by Nasjonalparkriket Reiseliv AS.
The purpose of this is to ensure delivery of purchased products and maintain sound logistics, and keep record of your details on our system for future engagements.
The guest can also be contacted for marketing research and marketing purposes, such as newsletters and brochures. In the case of online booking, the customer will receive email confirmation and follow-up emails. As a guest, you can choose at any time to opt out of mailings and unsubscribe to the newsletter.

6. Force majeure
Nasjonalparkriket and our sub-suppliers are not responsible for weather conditions, closed facilities or any other incidents beyond the company's control. If circumstances beyond the control of Nasjonalparkriket Reiseliv AS should arise, we have the right to move the customer to an accommodation/activity of similar standard or cancel the booking. In cases where advance notice is possible, the customer will be informed about such changes. However, this does not exempt the customer from paying for the stay. We disclaim any liability for changes in the law and changes in prices that are beyond our control.
